Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By installing GuardUp on your Shopify store, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
2. The service
GuardUp monitors your Shopify store configuration for risk signals (price anomalies, risky discount settings, overselling) and shows alerts inside an embedded admin dashboard. It is provided on an "as-is" basis with the features and limits described in the App Store listing and the app's in-product help.
3. Subscription and billing
GuardUp is $4.99/month, billed through Shopify's billing API. A 7-day free trial applies to new installs. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin; we will stop billing immediately.
4. Your responsibilities
GuardUp is a detection tool, not a guarantee. You are responsible for reviewing every alert before acting on it, keeping your thresholds tuned to your business, and making the final call on what counts as "safe" for your store. We are not liable for missed alerts caused by webhooks dropped by Shopify, network outages, or misconfiguration.

6. Uninstall
Uninstalling GuardUp from your Shopify admin stops billing and triggers a full deletion of your data from our servers. Shopify runs a second cleanup pass 48 hours later via the shop/redact webhook, which we also honor.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuardUp is provided without warranty of any kind. In no event will our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding a claim. Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted to this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
